Senior JavaScript Engineer (React)

We are seeking a developer with strong UX development skills as well as a solid knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem. You will join one of our teams working on an industry-leading SaaS product that is used to design organisations. Your focus will be on developing the customer-facing part of the product with use of emerging technologies, which brings many opportunities for learning and innovation.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing a data-rich browser-based application using state-of-the-art web technologies
• Working with solution designers, creative designers, and technical architects to clarify and help design solutions
• Providing estimations and reviewing processes in sprint planning sessions
• Providing and receiving code reviews
• Fixing defects and solving production issues
• Writing unit, integration and e2e tests for your code
• Contributing to company-wide component library and other shared resources

What we are looking for

• Demonstrable commercial experience in web application development using React (or similar modern JavaScript framework)
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and CSS Preprocessors
• Knowledge of open-source technologies, modern web standards, best practices, and the JavaScript ecosystem
• Experience with automated web UI testing frameworks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies with minimal oversight or supervision
• Excellent problem solving and analytics skills, with proven experience of requirements gathering and translating requirements into technical deliveries
• An eye for detail and ability to build accessible and intuitive user interfaces
• Experience in the design, development, and use of component-based architectures, preferably with React
