What will I be doing?
As a Software Engineer in one of the core engineering teams, you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of new automation products and services for the Customer ExperiencePlatform. Bringing together technologies, you will work both independently and as part of a team to provide highly available services critical to the business.
- Writing high-quality, scalable code including test suites
- Automating business and developer processes
- Building quality, business driven solutions for our internal teams
- Solve issues with mission critical internal services
- Collaborate with the team, product owners and stakeholders to deliver key projects

What are we looking for?
- Previous Experience working in a Back End Role
- A solid understanding of OOP principles and demonstrable experience in at least one OOP Software Language (we use Java but happy to consider engineers from other backgrounds)
- Demonstrable knowledge of relational databases (SQL/SQL Server)
- Demonstrable experience of building and designing REST API’s
- A strong understanding of Micro Service Architecture
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile work environment
- The ability to work autonomously as well as an integral part of a highly motivated team
- The ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
Other Beneficial Skills (Nice to haves)
- Good understanding of Python or other scripting languages
- Basic understanding of Front-End technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, SCSS, ReactJS)
- DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- Have passion for automation and improving processes
