Fnatic's unique brand and business model sees us engaged in a variety of commercial activities, from partnerships with global brands to direct-to-consumer product sales. As an Assistant Management Accountant at Fnatic, you'll take an increased role in the operational finance of our product units, as well as generally being a key contributor to timely book closures and building financial acumen across Fnatic stakeholders.Your mission is to:
- Take ownership of operational finance relating to Fnatic's Product business units
- Manage the working capital cycle for Apparel and Gear including POs, invoices and payments to suppliers, and build strong relationships with key suppliers
- Assist the Management Accountant to close the books in a timely manner providing reconciliations and inputs on preparation of Pamp;L and Balance Sheet
- Provide general book-keeping and financial analysis
- Be a first point of contact for internal and external queries
- Ensure internal controls and processes are adhered to
- Manage cashbooks and bank reconciliations at entity and group level with assistance of the AP Assistant
- Be a champion of finance related systems and software, including Spendesk and Netsuite
- Business partner to assist stakeholders in achieving their objectives and ensuring smooth working processes with Finance and other teams
- Develop processes and system improvements to continue streamlining finance processes
- Ad-hoc tasks as requested by your manager
We're looking for:
- Experience in a dynamic finance team (1-2 years in a start up/scale up environment desirable, but not essential)
- Near completion of CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or similar) qualification (ie. + 70%)
- Ability to multi-task effectively whilst maintaining a high quality of output
- Self-motivation and desire to add value to the business
- An spreadsheet expert, and able to turn your hand to a variety of systems and software
- Confident communication to internal and external stakeholders
- Comfort working under pressure and to strict deadlines
- A natural gift for accuracy and strong attention to detail
- A flexible approach to workload and internal change
- A team player with a sense of humour and passion for driving efficiencies
