We are looking for a Manager to join our growing Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk function, this newly created role will support the Head of Internal Audit and Risk (HoIAamp;R) to consolidate and align these functions.Our compliance efforts focus on our commercial and licensing agreements with rail carriers and the way we provide customer services to our customers ensuring we deliver the right quality and meet the expectations of our partners and in turn our outsourced partners meet our quality expectations. Whilst our compliance processes are established, we are looking for someone who can bring new insights, knows what ‘excellent’ looks like and will bring new perspectives to our ways of working. Working closely with the internal business partners and the wider commercial teams will be an important aspect of the role, so good relationship and communication skills as well as commercial acumen will be key!Our existing compliance function has one full-time compliance analyst and the role will be responsible for managing and overseeing their workload and their professional and career development. You will also work alongside the HoIAamp;R to assist in the delivery of the internal audit plan. The IA function is new in the past 12 months at Trainline and this role will be expected to participate in shaping and driving the internal audit agenda. Key Responsibilities Assisting the Head of Risk and Internal Audit with on-going, day-to-day internal audit (30%), risk management (10%) and compliance activities (60%). You will be the primary point of contact for regulatory compliance related matters with our rail industry partners. Assisting to ensure our regulatory and compliance obligations are proactively monitored and tracked. Coordinating ad-hoc requests from our regulatory and industry partners. Build excellent working relationships across the business and become the ‘go to’ for all things rail and customer service compliance Participating and leading internal audit engagements, including overseeing the work delivered by our internal audit co-source partners. Supporting the risk management activities as part of the Trainline Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including risk identification, monitoring and reporting.
