Tape London is an exclusive Mayfair nightclub with regular club nights, performances, private hires and live music showcases.
We are looking for a Nightclub / Venue Sound Technician to maintain our excellent standards and work alongside our existing AV team. The successful candidate will require strong experience in sound systems, control, processing, mixing and experience in audio signal paths is essential.
We are a production heavy venue during our club nights with shows and performances throughout operating hours, it's very fast paced and changes quickly, so multitasking and being able to deal with last second changes efficiently is a must.
JOB ROLES:
Operating the sound systems in two rooms during operating hours, including DJs, MCs, Bands, Events and recording live performances.
Maintaining sound equipment to a high standard.
Helping advance shows and events Lighting amp; AV tech requirements.
Working alongside the production manager to help with other aspects of production for the venue and events within the company
Be open to learning aspects of AV including some Lighting and Video so you are prepared if needed.
Requirements
At least 3 years experience in audio engineering is essential, and understanding of different systems and setups is a must.
A love of commercial and hip-hop music would be ideal but not essential
Full-time basis.
48hrs with a mix of days and nights (We are open 4 nights a week currently till 5am)
Competitive salary negotiated based on experience.
