We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented AV Manager to join the team of Tape London.
Tape London is an exclusive Mayfair nightclub with regular club nights, performances, private hires and live music showcases. The venue has state of the art lighting and video facilities and its own in house, world class, recording studio.
We are looking for an AV Manager to maintain our excellent standards and work alongside our existing team. The successful candidate will require strong experience in lighting, audio, video and IT.
We are a production heavy venue during our club nights with shows and performances throughout operating hours, it's very fast paced and changes quickly, so multitasking and being able to deal with last second changes efficiently is a must.
As AV Manager you will be working on a range of events and projects. You will will assist with the day-to-day technical delivery and operation of different events such as Nightclub Nights, DJ set ups, product launches, charity events, live performances as well as organising, maintaining the AV within the Venue amp; looking after other technical staff.
Requirements
- Be able to work 48 Hours a week with a mix of Days and Nights.
- As a key member of the team your primary duty is to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Technical department.
- Have a minimum 3 to 4 years experience in the set up and operation of audio and AV equipment, specifically within a corporate or hospitality environment.
- Are highly organised with the ability to multitask and excellent team players
- Be able to manage more than one project simultaneously
- Have the ability to motivate and develop other team members
- Have an understanding of FOH and monitor audio set-ups
- Manage amp; advance all Shows amp; Nights by liaising with the production manager amp; external clients
- Ensure that the servicing amp; repairs are done to ensure everything is in full working order
- Liaise and work closely with the management for the Health amp; Safety of the venue
- Are able to patch, programme and operate performance lighting to a high standard
- Are able to run events liaising with the Production Manager and Operations Team.
- Are professional and able to demonstrate an understanding of how to provide a high level of service in a fast-paced environment
- Are passionate about events / nightclubs and technology in equal measure and are keen to progress their career in event production
- Are proficient with Digico Digital mixers, Pioneer DJ equipment and Avolites lighting consoles
- Have an understanding of Madrix and Resolume Arena
- Great attention to detail.
