Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst (SCA) will help MINERVA to manage flow of materials, master data and document flows in the Procure-to-Pay and the Order-to-Cash processes.

The SCA ensures MINERVA’s method and procedures are applied with appointed suppliers/vendors and business processes are executed as mapped in the information system.

The SCA shall support MINERVA:

a) To achieve high efficiency levels in Operations (sales order management, inbound flows, materials management)
b) To relate with customers
c) To relate with logistics partners and freight forwarders to support them during import operations
d) To improve data quality and reliability

All with the objective of:

• Granting high standards of customer service

• Enabling managers to take decisions based on reliable information

• Establishing professional relationships with colleagues and vendors

Requirements

The SCA will support MINERVA’s Operations team effort by managing sales and purchase orders (when applicable, in

specific customer cases), movement of materials according to requirements.

Main responsibilities shall be:

• Sales order management, mainly but not limited to Italy, Spain and other European markets, from receipt to order creation, delivery creation and release, relationship with 3PL partners, invoicing (including pro forma) and/or release of automatically created documents, mailing of documents to customers, where applicable
• Coordinate stock transfers and inbound delivery notifications to/from other company’s sites

• Coordinate e-commerce orders flow and the dedicated 3PL

• Track and control metrics to improve sales order management

• Create and maintain customer master data

• Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

• In addition to the objectives listed above from time to time the Company may request at its own discretion the engagement of the SCC on additional objectives, initiatives or priorities.

Expected attitude

The SCA work shall be characterised by well organised delivery of business documents (Purchase and Sales orders, relevant Invoices, Delivery Notes, Packing Lists, stock consumption reports, etc.) and the management of procurement and sales order-related activities. Analysis of the circumstances, a positive attitude toward customers and vendors, precision and care for data will be key elements for success.

Organisation, time management, efficiency, problem solving and a "can do"/positive attitude are necessary to succeed in this role, that requires ability to work with minimal supervision.

Background

The SCA candidate holds a degree in Business Administration or Management Engineering and has extensive knowledge and experience of the Order-to-Cash process in an international environment, dealing with European B2B customers, possibly in the FMCG environment, as well as dealing with extra EC import/export procedures. Proficiency with ERP systems and online business applications usage is strictly required (SAP is preferred but not a must), as well as office automation applications (spreadsheets, primarily).
