Do you love uncovering how digital products can evolve with their users? Are you passionate about being the voice of the user? If you’re curious about customers and enthusiastic about providing insights, a role as a UX Researcher at Aiimi may be perfect for you.

This role will sit within Aiimi Labs, which is our internal software development team focused on building the next-generation information management products.

As a UX Researcher in our Aiimi Labs Ramp;D team, you will assist us in developing our Insight Engine platform, used by a number of companies in a variety of industries. You will help us understand our customers and their internal users, through user research and usability studies, to iterate and evolve our product to better meet their needs.

Although we are based out of our shiny new HQ in Milton Keynes, we operate a hybrid and flexible working environment, so work from home, your garden, the park, anywhere! As long as you bring value to the business and get the job done to a high standard we are flexible on this!

The role will see you

  • Plan, design, and conduct user research that focuses on user goals, needs and pains
  • Usability testing planning and facilitation (of early-stage concepts through to prototypes and products)
  • Working closely with stakeholders, at all levels, to understand and develop research requirements
  • Understanding, analysing and articulating user needs in order to help identify key themes and actionable findings, as well as building up rich insights into user behaviours
  • Proactively approach the implementation of ideas, build momentum and keep the team and customer stakeholders engaged
  • Understand the bigger picture and how an individual digital experience works as part of a larger customer experience ecosystem
  • Communicate research findings through presentations, show and tells, and formal reports

Requirements

  • Experience with a selection of user testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience designing and conducting user research and usability studies, ideally within an Agile environment
  • Confidence in documenting findings and presenting actionable insights back to product design teams
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
