Corin is seeking six Manufacturing Assistants to support the manufacturing on an initial three-month fixed term contract to support demand. We are looking at a 2nd August start date and interviews week commencing 25th July 2022.

What does Corin do?

Corin manufactures hip, knee, and associated instruments for worldwide distribution from our UK head office location in Love Lane, Cirencester, Gloucestershire

What will you be doing?

• Working a double day shift Monday to Thursday you work earlies one week (5.30am 2pm) and then late the following week (1.55pm 10.25pm). Finishing early on a Friday! This is a site- based role.
• Inspect (using various measuring tools which include Vernier, calliper, Keyence, CMM and Micrometre), load, and check orthopaedic parts which have just been produced, or set to be run on the robotic work centres.
• Pre-load work centre racks with planned batches, to ensure plan adherence levels can be maintained and achieved.
• Work and adhere to Corin’s Health amp; Safety procedures and processes, as well as conform with legislative requirements.
• Adhere to all work instructions, general visual aids, and standard operating procedures in line with the relevant processes.

What we’re looking for in the ideal Manufacturing Assistant?

• Reliable, quality focused and time sensitive individuals
• Accountable, quick learner, approachable and demonstrates strong collaboration skills.
• A strong eye for detail
• Good dexterity - desire to learn manual manufacturing processes and techniques including linish and polish.
• An appetite to learn or intrigued by engineering and manufacturing with a desire to operate and set CNC and Robotic machines in future.
