ESG Book has just completed a successful series B funding round and will now continue to advance ESG Book’s next-generation technology capabilities, enabling clients to meet increasingly complex sustainability requirements, and accelerate the company’s expansion as it responds to growing demand for technology enabled ESG data solutions.
Role
As part of the HR team, you will have responsibility for all tech recruitment across ESG book. The department is in its infancy, this role will be hands on and you will work with the Lead Recruiter in the setting up of a world class recruitment function, improving on existing processes to create a team that is ready to scale and can recruit at volume.
Responsibilities
- Create a hiring strategy to source, attract, and hire top tech talent globally.
- Initially collaborate closely with external agencies, but over time expanding the team and brining talent acquisition in-house, sourcing high-quality profiles that fit into ESG book culture.
- Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to help streamline the recruitment process and improve candidate experience.
- Responsible for the full recruitment cycle from screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and closing the offers whilst delivering an excellent candidate experience along the way.

Requirements
- Solid Tech recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working within a start-up/ scale up and or a VC funded company
- Worked in a tech or fintech company would be advantageous
- Proven success of sourcing and hiring top talent across multiple markets
- Excellent all-round interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are essential. You must be able to build rapport with candidates, managers, and team members.
- Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, creative and innovative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- German language skills would be advantageous
