A visionary game development studio founded in 2012, Firesprite builds innovative showcase titles for PlayStation platforms as part of the PlayStation Studios family.

We're looking for an Audio Director to lead the delivery of a powerful soundscape on our AAA story-driven next generation 'Narrative Adventure' with genre defining goals
This huge, highly ambitious partnership project takes atmosphere, storytelling, player agency and narrative firmly into ground-breaking territory on next-generation hardware technologies.
As the Audio Director you will be working with all disciplines to craft the atmospheric soundscape across the whole game, with a big focus on conveying the vital emotional beats which drive the narrative.
Key Responsibilites:
- Take responsibility at Director level for all aspects of audio, including the style and mood for this project
- Mentor, develop, and grow your audio team
- Work closely with the creative directors to set the musical direction for our project
- Oversee the audio design and its implementation of audio for this project
- Develop a positive and energetic team culture
- Bring your own experience of best working practices to the team
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Audio Director on at least one shipped PC or console title
- Outstanding expertise in the full audio process, including overall direction, sound effects, music, VO and audio technology
- Proficient in sound design, music composition, voice production and implementation
- Worked with script writers and voice providers to ensure Dialogue is of excellent standard.
- Knowledge and experience of industry standard middleware, audio software and game engines
