About the role

Our Customer Service Team goes above and beyond to ensure customers feel supported and that their move to PensionBee is as smooth as possible. Within the team we have Pension Transfer Managers (Nectar Collectors) and Customer Success Managers (BeeKeepers) who work closely together . Our BeeKeepers are responsible for all customer communications via phone, live chat and email. They keep our customers updated on their pension transfers, explain pension processes in a simple, jargon-free way, and deal with inbound customer queries in a timely manner. Nectar Collectors work behind the scenes dealing with other pension providers, taking and making calls, processing pension paperwork, and initiating pension transfers, predominantly through the electronic transfer system ‘Origo’. We are currently hiring for both roles.


Key responsibilities

  • Taking inbound and outbound calls and composing emails. BeeKeepers will predominantly communicate with our customers and Nectar Collectors will predominantly communicate with pension providers.
  • Using Salesforce to work through tasks to make the pension transfer as smooth as possible and ensure that our customers are kept in the loop as to what is happening with their transfers.
  • Feeding back to internal teams on how we can improve our processes and systems to make BeeKeeper and Nectar Collector life better.
  • Being a voice of the customer, whether through direct customer feedback received (BeeKeepers) or feeding back on industry issues that are impacting our customers (Nectar Collectors).
  • Being able to juggle a busy workload and keep on top of our SLAs. Working with a team you will need to be able to communicate well and keep pension transfers moving for our customers.
  • Requirements

    The key skills required are:

    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Strong work ethic and a team-orientated spirit
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Clear written and spoken English and excellent communication skills
    • A personable attitude - our teams work closely together
    • Prior knowledge of the pension market is advantageous, but not required as full training will be given
