The role

We are going from strength to strength and as part of that growth, we are looking to hire a Recruiter to build and develop our amazing team. High level of discipline and responsibility is a must as numbers and volume of hires for us are not everything. We value best practices, either for successful and unsuccessful candidates.

One of our priorities is also providing an outstanding candidate experience and for that reason we will consider your profile regardless of your industry background, as long as you share the same vision.

You will be adept at headhunting and reaching out to passive candidates, as well as using a blended approach to ensure we hire the very best talent there is. Ideally with knowledge of recruiting multiple disciplines (Design, Finance, Operations, Tech, Marketing, etc).

Please note that you must be prepared to commute 50% of the days to our HQ.

The recruitment process for this role will consist of 3 stages:

  1. Initial phone call (20 minutes)
  2. Video call interview with the Recruitment team that you would be part of. (40 minutes)
  3. Final interview with the Head of HR in our HQ in Marylebone (30 minutes)

Responsibilities:

  • Advertise all open positions using our ATS (Workable) and directly on appropriate recruitment websites.
  • Screen candidate CV’s and job applications.
  • Phone screen candidates.
  • Schedule interviews for hiring managers.
  • Take part in interviews when required.
  • Ensure all our Recruitment Data is kept up to date and compliant.
  • Ability to personalise each process accordingly to candidates and hiring managers' needs. They are our stakeholders!

Requirements

Here are a few skills that we feel would make you successful in the role, but please do not be put off from applying if you do not have every single one of them:

  • High level of discipline, responsibility and organisation.
  • Experience in either an in-house or agency recruitment role.
  • Articulate and engaging. You will be the first point of reference for candidates.
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with the Smart team and the candidates.
  • Strong admin skills - Able to benchmark roles and keep our ATS up to date.
