Purpose of the Salesforce Developer:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our growing Engineering team to help provide support to the organisation by managing integrations, creating bespoke lightning components while maintaining the coding standards of our Salesforce Orgs.
The Salesforce Developer must have experience integrating Salesforce with other platforms and must posses a Platform Developer certification and ideally a Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification. Javascript experience and knowledge of Apex and how Apex can utilise Salesforce’s declarative functionality is a must. Salesforce DX and Git is desirable however not essential.
What you could be working on as a Salesforce Developer:
- Be heavily involved in a large migration of functionality to Salesforce such as the ability to quote and sell products
- Work with the Salesforce Technical Lead to ensure best practices are adhered to and push for improvements in all areas
- Work with the technical product manager to assess requirements and timelines for future projects
- Ensure code coverage is maintained
- Work with SFDX and GIT as a standard
- Provide support and knowledge to triage any issues that may arise
- Provide documentation for any new feature or update existing documentation for changes
What you will need to be successful as a Salesforce Developer:
- A Platform Developer I Certification
- A strong knowledge of the blend between declarative functionality and custom development
- Experience developing Lightning Web Components
- Experience with custom frameworks such as trigger/testing/logging frameworks
- Strong knowledge of Apex and how Apex can utilise Salesforce’s declarative functionality
