Job Description

To deliver a ‘best in class network of People Business Partnering for Retail for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty. You will manage all aspects of HR practice for a wide scope of business units partnering with ET and SLT members, helping them unlock commercial and creative success through their people.

You will act as an internal consultant, change agent and fierce leader, ensuring best practice through commercial partnerships. You will be a champion of our values in all we do and will drive an obsession and relentless focus on engagement, talent management and strategic planning.

Working closely with the CoE’s and wider People Global Leadership team, you will design, propose and deliver initiatives, practices and processes that ensure we have an engaged and high performing workforce. You will protect our colleagues by ensuring that we comply with all aspects of UK and EMEA employment legislation.

With a focus on engagement, wellbeing and development you will ensure we are able to attract, retain and develop the right people to support our People strategy to be the number one magical employer of choice for the worlds best talent where everyone feels empowered and are developed to be the best versions of themselves.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Director of People in setting strategic direction for the brand globally with alignment for all regions in EMEA
  • Navigate the people agenda in collaboration with the operational roadmap that underpins the strategy
  • OPEX and CAPEX people budget control and monitoring
  • Workforce and Headcount Planning, based on needs of the business, organisation design evolvement, headcount and capability growth whilst also balancing affordability throughout the fiscal year
  • Partnering Leadership and coaching/empowering them to make the best decisions about their people
  • Employee Relations timely management with good HR practice and commerciality, acting as internal consultant to the team for complex cases and crisis management
  • Oversee and administer annual global processes such as; the Performance and Development Appraisal process, ensuring clear objectives and development plans are in place for all employees, and also bonus and review process, in collaboration with the Operations team
  • Work closely with the People Operations team to manage Retail annual salary review process ensuring thorough benchmarking is conducted to understand Charlotte Tilburys position in the Market
  • Provide consultancy and recommendations on Dashboard Data Reporting of Retail People Metrics, advising of performance against key KPI’s
  • Workforce Engagement internal marketing of the employee voice and participation. Holding focus groups and workshops with the SLT to advocate and empower action planning for positive change
  • Deciphering engagement themes and generalisations back into the people agenda by collaborating with CoEs
  • Liaise closely with Talent Acquisition Director and LDamp;I to oversee and strengthen holistic Talent Management through the full employee life cycle across EMEA retail.
  • Mentor and Coach Business Partners to have People Plans in place for all business areas which will look to attract, engage, grow and retain, helping leadership and management capability within their business areas
  • Work with the CoEs on all wellbeing and inclusion initiatives across the retail estate, social culture eventing and learning experiences and moments in the People Calendar, shaping through feedback the creation/ideation and then taking to market and advocating to business areas through the People Partners and to leadership directly
  • Identify training and development needs throughout the organisation and feed this back to fuel the evolvement of internal curriculum and manage budget limitations on external training requirements
  • Ensure EMEA policies and procedures are updated in accordance with legislation changes and employees are informed of any changes. Remain constantly aware of changes in legislation and ensure Charlotte Tilbury is compliant and applying best practice to all employee matters across UK and EMEA.

Requirements

  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience at a senior level
  • Able to establish credibility and maintain department credibility
  • Solution focused with strong strategic skills
  • Passionate about working with people and developing their skills
  • Excellent communication skills with employees at all levels
  • Comfortable developing team members and empowering staff
  • Strong employment law knowledge of the UK and EMEA
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in Organisation Design amp; Development
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
