Your Dream Role

  • An exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our successful, international business.
  • This is a key role which will be responsible for ensuring inventories and days of stock are maintained at an optimum level through excellent inventory practices, accurate inventory analysis, ensuring all transactions are performed in a timely manner, driving MRP optimization and adherence to current and new inventory processes and improvement actions.
  • Report inventory amp; freight status to all levels of the organisation ensuring reports are accurate and reflect current status, along with development of root cause and recommended corrective actions.
  • Through detailed analysis drive actions to optimise inventory levels supporting the site planning teams as required
  • Drive site cycle counting programs
  • Establishing new and automated reporting solutions for KPI’s to handover to department leads.
  • Ensure all systems transactions impacting inventory are up to date highlighting where specific actions are required to maintain
  • Effective analysis, interpretation and actioning of inventory data and issues to drive improvement initiatives
  • Continued analysis of MRP parameters and inventory to drive effective decision making to maintain optimum levels of inventory and customer service
  • Ensure allocations are maintained and in line with current Work in Process levels
  • Responsible for accuracy and reconciliation of physical inventories and systems
  • Analysis and action of inactive and surplus inventories.
  • Recommendation of materials planning policies and Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
  • Supports the planning team to managing the parts ordering process from set parameters ensuring maximum availability with the right level of inventory
  • Developing of understanding of site losses and damages.
  • Proactively looking for process improvements with a methodical and consistent approach.
  • Lead amp; Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Developing forecasting tools and methods.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in a similar position within a similarly complex, fast-paced business.
  • You will understand ERP amp; MRP systems and processes. Ideally you will have experience of using Syspro.
  • Excellent Excel skills and proficient with other Microsoft packages such as Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Relationship building will come easily to you, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
  • Able to work with large quantities of data and information and use data in decision making process
  • Strive for continuous improvement always looking for ways to do things better.
  • Driven, curious, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach to problem solving.
  • Things can be hectic here. You will thrive on being busy and be an expert multi-tasker.
  • Generally, someone who is approachable, with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
