At Swytch, we’re changing the way people move. We fundamentally believe that sustainable transport shouldn't cost the Earth, so we've made it our mission to make electric transport accessible to everybody.
Founded by engineers Oliver Montague and Dmitro Khroma back in 2017, we’re a London-based startup with an industry-leading product and global recognition. To date, there are over 50,000 loyal Swytchers across 50 countries, who’ve collectively ridden over 10 million miles!
We’re now in a new and exciting phase of our journey - the launch of a truly ground-breaking new product. We're excited to be growing faster than ever, and are building a team of world-class talent!
The Role:
We’re looking for an Ecommerce Product Owner to join our growing team at Swytch. The role requires someone with strong commercial awareness combined with experience working with web technologies and a growth mindset.
The Product Owner will require strong time management and prioritisation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead through collaboration with effective stakeholder management. They must also be able to work effectively with a wide range of teams from business leaders to development teams driving product success whilst working in an environment of changing priorities through an agile approach.
They will have a keen eye for areas of improvement across our websites, through optimised design and refined user flows to increase lead generation and conversion rates. With a strong technical understanding, the Product Owner will then break the brief down into user stories, adding to a backlog which they will manage and deliver alongside our website design and development team using Agile methodologies.
They will take ownership of the entire product lifecycle across all web services, working with key stakeholders to shape a product roadmap that is aligned to an ambitious growth strategy as we continue to expand into new markets.
The in-house development team is responsible for developing and maintaining our three core websites, and the Product Owner will work collaboratively across internal stakeholder groups to drive a compelling vision and provide direction for future enhancements and ongoing growth. The Product Owner will lead new iterations of the websites to provide the development team with greater flexibility to scale the websites as new products are released by our engineering team, and new website optimisations are introduced.
