We are now looking for a Salesforce CPQ Developer
About the role
As a CPQ Developer, you will be acting as a trusted team member to your technical peers. You are expected to have a deep understanding of the Salesforce CPQ platform and will have excellent skills in developing and configuring CPQ functionality, as designed by the CPQ Solution Architect, helping deliver business solutions.
You will work with technical and cross-functional teams in the context of project implementation, as well as in the context of business as usual helping to resolve incidents, which require a combination of analytical, technical, business insight and communication skills.
This document describes your role, but at times you will also take on different responsibilities as a part of a project, squad or collaboration within Tech Europe. We act and work as a team and collaboration and transparency is key in all roles within our organization.
Being an international company, your role will contain some travelling, and facilitating collaboration cross countries
What you’ll be doing
- Display expertise in Salesforce CPQ functionality and features, through all interactions with the Salesforce team and business stakeholders.
- Work closely and seamlessly under the guidance of the Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect (implementation partner), with a view to deliver a world-class solution, based on best practices and standard functionality when possible.
- Build and deploy Salesforce CPQ configuration, in accordance with the design and architecture produced by the Salesforce CPQ Solution Architect.
- Establish best practices and standards for well designed, testable efficient code and high quality configurations.
- Provide technical support for implementation projects, as well as enhancements and bug-fixes related to solutions already delivered in the Salesforce CPQ platform.
- Collaborate and coordinate with other developers and team members to obtain requirements, assist with User Acceptance Tests and post go-live activities.
- Work closely with the Salesforce Product Owner, helping to refine the backlog (and user stories, specifically).
- Help the team ensure configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in Salesforce implementations, particularly in fast-moving consumer goods industry or similar
- Experience in all aspects of developing and implementing CPQ applications, with a focus on multiple Quotes, downstream interaction with applications such as ERP / billing / invoicing systems, with a strong knowledge of product lifecycle management
- Strong knowledge of CPQ software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
- Strong core Sales and Product Management understanding
- Full life-cycle development in a pan-European enterprise development environment
- Experience working in an agile environment and implementing processes for agile development and service delivery such as ITIL, Lean and similar frameworks
- Experience setting-up and running project management tools such as Jira
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High degree of initiative, takes opportunities to make improvements
- Should have great communication, decision making, negotiation and problem-solving skills
