Within Business Solutions, the Business Consultancy team plays a critical role in the delivery of our overall customer proposition. As Senior Business Consultant, you will be responsible for providing a consultancy and solutioning service to internal and external clients, ensuring that the design of the customer proposition is aligned with business drivers and requirements and add value to the client’s operational capability. You will work closely with colleagues in Business Solutions to establish where gaps exist in Target’s solution propositions and drive the process to ensure accurate estimation to deliver solutions aligned with agreed scope.
Other responsibilities include:
- Provision of business analysis and/or business consultancy to clients as required and in accordance with Change Delivery Process and Quality Management Framework
- Estimate the time to complete Design and Business Solutions work and facilitate collation of estimates across delivery departments presenting challenges where appropriate to ensure accuracy and alignment to proposition
- Identify and confirm the client’s strategic business drivers, gather appropriate business metrics, identify and represent the value and impact of change on the client
- Manage the relationship with the client in conjunction with Bid / Sales Solution Lead
- Responsible for supporting the gathering, documentation and approval of the client’s business requirements
- Work closely with other members of Business Solutions Team to share information and cover each other’s responsibilities where required
- Provide Target and Clients with board level presentations with respect to the client’s requirements and proposed Target solutions and services
- Perform Post Project Reviews as and when requested
Requirements
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in consultancy and business analysis methods and techniques
- Extensive knowledge of consumer / commercial credit and / or insurance markets.
- Appreciation of business and technological trends within the market place and Financial Services industry
- Commercial and competitor awareness
- Subject matter expert within Financial Servicing (Lending/Investments/Savings)
- Client facing experience including presentations and workshop facilitation and management
