About the job

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to work closely with the Group Financial Controller to produce the monthly Management Accounts for our UK, USA and Italian companies. This is a hybrid role as there will be a requirement to attend our London office.

About you

The successful Assistant Management Accountant will have 2+ years of experience and ideally be working towards ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent. You should also have strong communication and intermediate excel skills. Xero experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase ledger management posting vendor invoices and preparing payment runs.
  • Sales ledger reconciliation and raising invoices as required
  • Bank account management and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns on a quarterly basis
  • Posting month-end journals, including Fixed Assets, Prepayments and Accruals
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Assisting the Financial Controller in producing the monthly Management Accounts, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Assist with the year-end audit as required
  • To assist in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts
  • Assist Group Financial Controller with preparation and calculation of intercompany recharges.
  • Raise and post intercompany invoices from group companies and prepare the monthly intercompany reconciliation matrix for all companies.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and reports as required by management.
