A Day In The Life
As a new French-Canadian Performance Marketing Copywriter at PetLab Co., you'll be part of the driven and successful media team. This team has helped propel PetLab Co. to become the world's fastest-growing DTC pet supplement brand. You will be joining at an exciting time as we expand into the Canadian market. And you'll play a pivotal role in converting our proven marketing model for this new audience as well as working to drive further growth.

Your day to day will look a little bit like this
- Translation: The translation of emails, ecomm content, and product pages.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality output of written content
- Writing High-Converting Advertorials amp; Blog-Style Presell Pages: To warm up cold audiences, drive down traffic costs and ultimately make sales.
- Writing Storyboards: Create storyboards for ads that grab attention and force action from prospects across various media platforms.
- Ideation: You’ll bring fresh ideas to the table and flex your creative muscles - we’re always open to new ideas (that’s partly why we are where we are), and an entrepreneurial mindset will be fostered from day one.
Requirements
What You Need
- Bilingual in English and French (Canadian)
Experience in writing world-class short and long-form copy with a proven track record of successful conversion. - Experience in sales funnel copywriting in the eCommerce sector is essential.
- Working knowledge of metrics and data analysis in performance marketing is beneficial.
- Experience in testing and optimization.
- Understanding and practical knowledge of NLP in sales and marketing are desirable
- Compliance is king! While we love persuasive copy, we need to stick to the rules, so knowledge of compliance is a huge advantage.
