Job Title: Delegate Engagement Executive

Salary: 28.000 p/a + comms
Location: London, United Kingdom
Type of Employment: Full-time/permanent Hybrid work pattern
Hours: Normal working hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, with an hour for lunch.

Role Overview:

Due to team expansion, we are looking for a Delegate Engagement Executive to work across all of our brand publications (Computing, CRN and CPI). You will work in a small but busy team who, alongside our marketing team, recruit delegates for our face-to-face and online events. You will be speaking to our senior audience on a daily basis and must be able to create and maintain relationships.

Requirements

Your main responsibilities will include:

• The acquisition of senior-level delegates to attend our roundtables and conferences through researching, sourcing, cold calling and email marketing
• Recruiting, supporting and advising a network of senior IT and business decision-makers for various face-to-face and online events
• Ensuring that any signed-up delegates have regular touchpoints for rendition
• Upselling events to key people
• Speaking to prospective delegates with knowledge about the event, topic areas and speakers
• Opportunities tracking
• Share feedback with stakeholders on what our senior audience wants to hear about at our events
• Maintaining contact with your network to maintain a trusted relationship with key decision-makers.
• Generate reports in Excel/PowerPoint and any other admin required.
• Prepare regular updates to share with the event and project team to keep them informed of progress.
• Identifying amp; confirming the correct target audience through desk-based research
• Maintaining the database including updating information
• Contacting high-profile individuals by email or telephone to discuss the benefits of attendance
• Liaising with confirmed delegates to ensure event attendance and participation
• Managing clients on-site to help deliver outstanding customer satisfaction
• VIP delegate management including staying in touch throughout the process
• Managing cancellations and ensuring that replacements are of the same caliber
• Complete other related tasks as needed

• Ability to manage time and prioritize
• An interest in new technology
• Independence is important, but so is being a team player to ensure success across the team
