The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer /Creative Design Manager who can help bring MORI’s creative output amp; branding to the next level. You will be responsible for translating our brand positioning and marketing objectives into clear creative strategies across our online amp; offline channels. Your design portfolio showcases your passion for design and your ability to develop creative concepts across channels. You are a passionate and confident team player and leader who wants to lead creatively and strategically across all creative touch points of the business. You have a hands-on approach, with meticulous attention to details, able to deliver on-brand and original creative ideas.


Key responsibilities

  • Be the brand guardian for everything creative - develop, promote and protect MORI brand guidelines and tone of voice, ensuring they are upheld across all creative executions.
  • Provide leadership, direction and support to our in-house Creative team.
  • Translate brand and growth marketing objectives into clear creative strategies.
  • Lead, develop and execute on creative briefs (both big amp; small) including campaigns, digital assets, packaging and retail events.
  • Ensure creative excellence and consistency throughout new and existing brand touchpoints, guidelines or experiences to create a cohesive customer experience, increase engagement and achieve brand KPIs.
  • Manage the pipeline and budgets of creative briefs, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed as briefs progress.
  • Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of the creative plan.
  • Develop and test new creative concepts to ensure best practice evolves for channels (such as Paid Social amp; Email) whilst also meeting commercial requirements.
  • Undertaking competitor research, staying informed of current trends across retail, brand and digital and sharing updates with key stakeholders.
  • Support and manage the in-house Shoot producer in the planning and execution of our photoshoot, coordinate with external partners (Art Director, Photographer, Stylist) to successfully deliver on-brand product and model photography.
  • Work closely with the Brand and Retail teams to ensure all retail material is consistent and in line with the rest of the digital channels (including windows, POS, labels).
  • Work closely with the Wholesale team to ensure the delivery of all supporting creative material for internal and external platforms: lookbooks, material for trade fair shows, third party ecommerce.
  • Provide guidance and direction on the development of new apparel and toys collections.

Requirements

What we are looking for in you:

  • A senior graphic designer with 5-6 years in-house experience, translating a brand across multiple channels and touchpoints, from digital assets through to packaging amp; print design.
  • Experience managing and leading a creative team in a small company.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the relationship between brand strategy and design.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, XD (or Figma).
  • Experience managing a pipeline of creative briefs and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed as briefs progress.
  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritising and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented, organised, self-starter who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and wearing different hats.
  • Excellent communication amp; presentation skills and experience presenting ideas to senior management.
  • The ability to take initiative, be proactive and make connections within the company.
  • Commercially aware with a demonstrated creative ability
  • Experience with a retail / lifestyle / fashion brand would be beneficial in understanding the seasonal needs and cadence of this role
  • Relevant university degree in Design or other related field of st
