Graduate Social Value Consultant- Investment Management

Job Description
We are looking for someone to come and join a growing team within a growing business. The Investment Management Division of Social Value Portal’s (SVP) Consultancy group supports real estate investors to make better sustainability decisions throughout their investment cycle. The division’s primary function is to provide asset managers with analysis of how their in-use real estate assets are performing in terms of social value, and work with clients to create improvement plans and targets.
Pay rate: 28,000-30,000 plus 20% commission plan beginning 1st Jan 2023
Hours per week: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Location: Flexible working provided. You will have the ability to work from home, but the successful applicant will be expected in the office for at least 1-2 days per week in our London office which is based in Vauxhall. The role could include travel to meet customers around the UK.

What you'll be doing
- Engaging with investors to understand their social value/sustainability approach
- Delivering relevant surveys, data collection files and reports to clients and third parties
- Managing datasets collected from asset owners, property managers, suppliers and tenants
- Conducting analysis and writing reports on single assets and/or whole portfolios
- Owning multiple, simultaneous projects from start to finish
- Undertaking research on the investment market to help guide SVP’s approach
- Managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
The commission programme will begin when the role is given a delivery target in January 2023.

Requirements
Required Skills / Experience
- Understanding of the investment management sector particularly real estate and sustainability’s role within the industry
- Project management skills with an ability to work through tasks proactively and to deadline
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written - with confidence to liaise with senior client contacts
- Curious and creative; always coming up with new ideas
- Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of the TOMs framework and/or other social value or impact measurement frameworks
- Understanding of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, GRESB, BREEAM, SFDR and other investment management sustainability frameworks
- Relevant degree and/or studies
- Research and development of methodologies and products to support the Portal
- Consultancy and advisory work with clients to assist in the development of social value strategies and approaches
