Production Team Leader / Line leader
Hours per week: 39.5 hours per week Shift pattern (Early / Lates) Monday Friday, Additional hours may be required in line with work streams
Contract Status: Permanent

Based at our site in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, we have over 200 people working together to produce top quality products to clients across the UK and beyond. Due to significant demand we require Production Team Leader's / Line Leader's to lead and support our Production Line Operatives and manage one of our many Production Lines. Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team on one of the production lines (Line 1, Line 2, Tuber Machine, Hot Fill Line, Cellowrapper Machine, Sachet Machine, Packing Line, Peristaltic)
- Manage and motivate the team by giving individual feedback (positive and constructive), coaching and encouraging people to achieve results that meet targets and objectives and support 'right first time', whilst adhering to all company Quality and Health and Safety policies.
- Can achieve daily targets
- Monitor line efficiency against set line run rates and report hourly production figures. Communicate any inaccuracies, problems, trends, investigate and resolve issues immediately.
- Monitor production yields, ensuring details are recorded for short falls i.e. bottles, caps, labels, outers and bulk liquid.
- Identify training needs, organise and follow up on appropriate training and development in order to develop and maintain the appropriate skills within the team.
- Carry out weight checks in line with average fill legislation ensuring details are recorded and any anomalies are communicated and resolved immediately.
- Carry out attribute checks in line with customer standards ensuring all details are recorded and any non-conformance are resolved satisfactorily.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping/hygiene levels
- Any other duties as required as set out by the Shift Manager

Requirements
We are looking for someone who has the following characteristics:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Production Environment
- A minimum of 2 years Production Team Leader experience preferrably in a fast paced production environment
- Organisational Skills
- Business focused
- Can communicate with a good Level of English
- Methodical with a good eye for detail
- Positive attitude
- Can manage a highly demanding Production Environment
- Excellent knowledge of Health amp; Safety
