We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, professional learning and development assistant with excellent attention to detail. As our Learning and Development Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the Learning and Development Manager and our growing team of Practice Development Facilitators, acting as a lead for training and E-learning platforms.
As the Learning and Development Assistant you will use your knowledge and skills to provide excellent levels of customer service, accurate efficient administration and effective concise reports. You will use your expertise to book and co-ordinate internal and external training including catering, attendance records, course evaluations. In this role you have have a keen eye for budgets and funding: accessing and administrating funding platforms such as Workplace Development Fund and Apprenticeship accounts.

Requirements
The right person for this role will:
Possess effective interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with internal and external contacts with confidence
Have a good understanding of HR practice and environment (Desirable)
Have excellent I.T. skills including email and Microsoft Office applications e.g. excel and word.
Be knowledgeable of HR Systems e.g. Resource Link and Open HR (Desirable)
Be effective in prioritising their own work ensuring it is completed to the required standard and on time with limited supervision
Have fine attention to detail to produce accurate and highly comprehensible correspondence, letters, reports etc.
Be exceptional in providing good customer care
Possess HR administrative experience in a HR or recruitment role (Desirable)
Be an excellent administrator
Have a Diploma 2 (or equivalent) in HR or administration (Certificate in Personnel Practice or CIPD desirable)
Be a strong team player
Have the ability to complete work tasks to deadlines and to a specified standard
Due to the nature of the role we need a Learning and Development Assistant who is reliable and able to fulfil contracted hours and flexible work patterns. Our Villages are located across the North West region; there will be a commitment to travel therefore a drivers licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
The salary for this role is 25,400 per annum.
