Eventogy is now seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join us on our journey and help us continue to grow and maintain Eventogy into the class leading product it is.

The Role

As a Digital Delivery Manager in the Eventogy team, you’ll act as a vital day-to-day conduit between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless day-to-day management of clients, projects and relationships.

You will be responsible for directing the day to day duties of the entire production team by managing a team of platform and mobile developers and designers. As their reporting line, you will ensure they are utilised efficiently and that they are informed with specificity on their deliverables at all times. You’ll demonstrate a solid and successful ability to deliver on multiple projects whilst maintaining a high level of analytical management expertise.

Although the role assumes a high level of autonomy, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Product and Director where you’ll be part of an energised team that manage a number of key work streams on a variety of projects and accounts whilst ensuring a top down approach across a number of different disciplines. No two days are alike and with a rich tapestry of projects and ambitions, a diverse and wide range of commitments will be expected.

This role will involve remote working, travel and working at Eventogy’s London office in Farringdon.

The applicant will be taking over the responsibilities of our existing head of digital delivery so there will be a comfortable and efficient handover process during the transition.

You will be responsible for:
  • Scoping project requirements, considerations and dependencies.
  • Develop required support documentation including risk logs, copy decks, technical briefs or requirement specifications.
  • Managing a production team of developers and designers
  • Assisting us in rolling out and supporting a major integration project with Zoom and WebEx.
  • Develop detailed project plans and supervise progress.
  • Seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of additional team members as and when required
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
  • Managing with authority and responsibility the need to keep both clients and our internal production team on track
  • Ensuring adherence and validity of accreditation with recognised and necessary official standards.

Requirements

The successful Digital Project Manager based in London will need the following:
  • Degree level qualification.
  • At least 3-5yrs experience as a project manager or similar position in a comparable industry environment.
  • Experience using project management software, such as Favro, Trello, Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience handling development strategies across web, app and social.
  • Confidence using data analytics tools with the ability to draw insights and make strategic decisions based on data.
  • Experience managing, communicating and building collaborative relationships.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Project management practices and methodologies (such as Kanban, Lean, Scrum, Scrum Ban, Feature driven development or Spotify agile) and blending them depending on the context.
  • Ability to manage a project end-to-end, assign and manage work activities, meet deadlines and develop project management reporting in a timely and effective manner.
  • Exemplary organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-drive responds to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace
