We are looking for a Property Acquisitions Associate to help us manage our existing property portfolio. As a Property Acquisitions Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining our current network of active properties and efficiently disposing of those that are not in current use. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the commercial property market, be an outstanding negotiator and be a great problem solver. Responsibilities
- Manage existing property leases to optimise Zapps portfolio
- Disposing of properties that are currently not in use
- Owning and managing the renewal process
- Owning full responsibility to maintain and renew liqueur licencing
- Source new properties to serve as Zapp’s warehouses, either directly, with external acquisitions consultants, or through working with commercial real estate partners
- Manage the acquisition process from sourcing to completion, working with lawyers and contractors in the process
- Manage multiple properties simultaneously
- Building relationships with key stakeholders
- Continuously updating knowledge of all necessary regulations
- Relentlessly optimise processes on a daily basis, sticking to strict deadlines and improving the overall launch pace and execution
Requirements
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience within the real estate property acquisition or management
- Strong commercial and transactional knowledge
- Understanding and ability to manage the property renewal process
- Experienced in sourcing and negotiating property acquisitions for a rapidly expanding business
- Experienced working to tight deadlines with many work-streams, both internal and external
- Experience in fast-paced and competitive environments
- Outstanding communication skills
- Willing to go above and beyond to secure the best properties available
- Comfortable with ambiguity and short deadlines
- Experienced in building relationships with landlords and agents
- Have strategic experience in implementing scalable practices
- Self-led, self starter.
