About the Marketing Team:

Onto is looking for a marketing leader with deep digital and brand marketing expertise. This is an exciting role, reporting directly to the CMO. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a talented team of marketers and create and implement the UK marketing strategy for a high growth, well-funded scale-up that is changing the landscape of car ownership.

Requirements

Life as a Marketing Director at Onto:

  • Be directly responsible for leading Onto’s growth and developing and executing marketing strategies and brand marketing campaigns in the UK.
  • Manage budget and help drive profitable customer growth and retention.
  • Lead the PR and wider communication strategy, and liaise with media partners to ensure Onto is positioned correctly in the press.
  • Build outstanding relationships with agencies, key media partners such as Facebook and Google, and marketing technology suppliers.
  • Ensure our innovation roadmaps integrate seamlessly with our brand positioning and act as a consultant on Product development for new customer propositions.
  • Continue recruiting top talent and build a world-class marketing organisation.

  • Good understanding of how brand marketing interacts with performance marketing and best practices and how they drive growth together.
  • Good understanding of the contemporary marketing environment.
  • Experience using consumer insights to understand audiences and build strong value propositions.
  • Experience building customer acquisition strategies that are data-led, utilising a multitude of channels that can deliver efficient LTV: CAC ratios.
  • Experience in building a supportive environment that allows your direct reports to perform.
  • Curious by nature and interested in making an impact.
  • Autonomous amp; strategic thinker - able to lead and deliver a greater vision.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in working subscription brands.
  • Interest in sustainability.
