Our web and mobile applications are mission critical to our customers and are used all day, every single day of the year. You will play a key role in the design, development and deployment of SEDNA’s front-end system, working as part of a cross-functional pillar team of developers, designers, product managers and researchers to design, build, test, ship, and support new functionality and services.
You’ll be a key contributor in the design, development and maintenance of our design system, Harbor. Harbor serves as the core product for design and engineering teams to build consistently better features and experience, together. Our long-term goal is to open source Harbor and have it become the standard for communications in the Enterprise. Harbor is used by designers and engineers to deploy better, safer, more reliable code that will in turn allow us to move faster.
Requirements
We don’t have a long list of requirements where experience is concerned - we care far more about hiring caring, talented developers than the specific skills and qualifications you have!
We are looking for developers at all levels, from junior through senior / experienced frontend developers.
Our frontend stack is Node, JavaScript and React based, hosted on AWS. Previous experience with these would be a plus, and exposure to Kotlin would be a real bonus, but not required in the junior and mid level roles.
You’ll need to have experience with Node, JS and React and it would be ideal if you’ve worked on design systems in past - improving developer processes, creating libraries and reusable components to help build systems that allow our developers to do less net new work every time.
We will be happy to teach you any parts of our stack you’re less familiar with and there will be plenty of opportunities to work on different parts of our platform and with different technologies over time.
