About the Engineering Team:Engineering at Onto is about turning our vision into a reality. We work in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams, supporting each other to do our best work. As the business grows, our systems have to evolve continually to meet the needs of new challenges and opportunities. We seek to delight our users and set the business up for success.
Life as a Junior Python Engineer at Onto:
- You’ll be supported by more senior team members as you begin your journey with us.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and peers to define engineering requirements for mission critical work in an agile environment.
- Work with your team to design, code, document and review the business logic and integrations required to make Onto a best-in-class business.
- Deliver high-quality work, and support production systems.
- Pursue personal development to continually grow as an engineer and professional.
Ideally we are looking for:
- Experience building software in a commercial environment.
- People are at the heart of our business, so you’ll have empathy for your peers and users.
- You’ll enjoy working through interesting technical problems in collaboration with others.
- You’ll have some experience with Python, Git, cloud platforms, agile.
