Job Description

Hi, we're Harbr - it's nice to meet you!

We're a London based Enterprise tech start-up, on a mission to change the way the world thinks about and interacts with data, and to build the data economy of the future.

The Harbr Data Commerce Platform makes it possible for our clients to build a custom branded data business, organise their data as products, and generate scalable revenue. From start to finish, we coach our customers as they go through that journey - whether they're organising their data as products to share internally, monetising data for the first time, or scaling a multi-million dollar data business.

Our aim is to be the leading Data Commerce Platform, powering the worlds data products.

Why we're hiring a Lead SDR.

Over the last 6 years (since Harbr was founded) we've built a platform that has been instrumental in defining 'Data Commerce" as a category. We've won enterprise customers, and taken them on a journey that has seen them win multiple industry awards, and (more importantly) realising new revenue streams from their data products. We've proven that our model works, and that we can provide immense value to our clients. Now it's time to scale.

We're attacking the market, capitalising on our past success, and looking to add a suite of new logo's to our customer portfolio. That's where you come in. We're looking for an SDR Lead, to manage a team of two Sales Development Reps across the UK and the US. You'll be coaching and developing our team, helping them hit new heights as salespeople, achieve their goals, and driving their professional growth. This is a player-coach role, so you'll also be carrying your own quota, and working with our pre-sales team to win new sales opportunities.

You'll collaborate and partner with the Marketing and Sales teams to establish best practices, playbooks and KPIs to increase efficiencies and improve lead generation processes - all while helping to guide a strong, cohesive, and collaborative team.

Requirements

Here's some of the things you’ll work on:

  • Lead a small international team of Sales Development Representatives (located in London amp; the US).
  • This is a ‘player/manager’ role. Approx 50%/50% split between managing team of 2 SDRs and carrying your own quota
  • Opportunity to potentially grow the team and become 100% manager role, or progress as an individual contributor within sales
  • Manage team output by monitoring lead flow, daily activities and quality of opportunities created.
  • Work closely with our Pre-sales team on understanding the value of opportunities to train on quality.
  • Mentor, train and report to set KPIs. Provide support in a group and one-on-one setting.
  • Align with Sales Enablement and assist in the adjustment/creation of training (continual and onboarding).
  • Motivate the team and support the culture we have created here at Harbr.
  • Compile weekly and monthly team reports to our Sales Leaders and the wider business.

We’re excited if you have:

  • 2+ years SDR experience within a well-organised and successful sales team - preferably SaaS
  • A previous record of achieving targets.
  • Recruiting, team development and SDR leadership experience to hire and develop our sales talents.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, as well as Apollo or other workflow tools.
  • Experience of running ABM campaigns
  • Data-driven mindset to understand trends amp; previous experience in building relationships with senior-level executives.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English. Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to new processes, technologies and information, with an eye for quantity as well as quality and attention to detail.

Benefits

UK-based Employees

  • Competitive compensation
  • Company equity
  • Generous paid time off (28 days excluding public holidays)
  • Life insurance from YuLife, and top flight medical from Vitality.
  • Workplace pension
  • Perks and discounts programs
  • Weekly team social activities
