We are seeking a part time kitchen assistant, that can support our vision to build stronger individuals and confident communities.
As a kitchen assistant you are responsible for preparing amp; serving food from our cafe to members while delivering the highest standard of customer service and food safety, creating a warm and welcoming environment that facilitates community sharing and learning.
You will be working as part of a team and be very hands on.
You will need to have a flexible and adaptable attitude- washing up will be a key part of the role.
Requirements
Knowledge, skills and experience
Hours of work: working 25 hours per week, between 8.30am and 2pm Tuesday to Saturday (some flexibility is required)
Working 5 days per week- 4 days (Tuesday to Friday) with the Chef Mentor in a supporting role and Saturday breakfast service running the kitchen unassisted.
Pay rate: 10.50 per hour, paid every 4 weeks
