Job Description

Waste is one of the world’s biggest problems and the only viable solution is an accelerated transition to a global circular economy. Today, according to the OECD, only 9% of the world’s plastic has ever been recycled, with the rest ending up in landfills and incinerators. This is partly due to the high cost of manual waste sorting, but at Recycleye, we are changing that.

We’re reinventing the economics of recycling for the global waste management industry through intelligent waste sorting automation robotics. Our team is on a mission to turn the world’s waste into resource, by combining ground-breaking computer vision, machine learning and robotics technologies like never before. Our goal is to fully automate the $2.5 trillion waste recycling industry and to achieve it, we are being supported by global players such as Microsoft, FANUC and Arrow Electronics.

We already count several of the world’s largest waste management companies amongst our clients and are experiencing accelerated growth. We now need an In House Technical Recruiter to join our busy team and help us deliver that growth.

We are experiencing a period of rapid growth and need an experienced tech recruiter to understand the specific needs of our business, build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our positions.

Requirements

The Role

  • Build a strong relationship and good understanding of the needs of each team
  • Write and post technical job descriptions
  • Source excellent and diverse potential candidates on all platforms, including (but not limited to) workable, Hired and 50inTech
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen all applications
  • Coordinate with HR and team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Promote Recycleyes’ reputation as a great place to work

The Person

  • Strong previous technical recruitment experience (in house not necessary, but preferred.)
  • Experience working with a large and varied pool of roles
  • Experience with rapid growth / fast turnaround times
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of HR best practice and recruitment legislation
