Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Product Demonstrator to join an extremely reputable, family-run SME based in Sittingbourne, Kent. This is a national role in which you will cover the whole of the UK, therefore this would suit a candidate based within the Midlands
As a Product Demonstrator, you will visit customer premises throughout the UK, in particular body shops/ automotive repair centres to demonstrate how your products work, and the value they could add to their business. This business provides quality solutions that empower their global client base.
This is a reactive role where your appointments will already be booked for you as well as having a proactive approach with upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
Key duties and responsibilities.
- Attend end user and distributer premises and provide demonstrations on our complete range of products
- Build solid relationships that lead to repeat business
- Analyse products that customers are using and advise of similar products
- Educate our clients on our complete range of products
- Attend trade shows
- Attend requested distributer training days
Requirements
- Proven product advisory/similar experience is highly desirable
- A passion for automotive repair/ or knowledge of Bodyshop repairs would be advantageous
- Strong relationship development mindset
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to travel around the UK (95% traveling)
- Comfortable with overnight stays where necessary
- Full driver’s license
Hours: predominantly Monday - Friday 8.00am- 17.00pm however, this may change with customer demands/ locations etc. You must be flexible to work before and past these hours when necessary. You must also be available to attend weekend trade shows
