Sifted is looking for a digital project manager and content producer to join our growing events team. We have big plans to rapidly expand our events portfolio in 2023 and beyond and we are assembling a creative, enthusiastic events team to make that happen!

Sifted is an award-winning new media platform, backed by the Financial Times, reporting on the world of technology and startups in Europe. Four years after launching, our high-quality journalism is a must-read for many founders, investors and people working in startups across the continent.
After the launch of our flagship multi-stage event in London this year, we have big plans for our events portfolio and we're expanding our content team to prepare for this exciting new chapter. In 2023 we’ll be revisiting London for our flagship event, hosting two European city- based Sifted Sessions and continuing our popular digital panels Sifted Talks.
The role
Reporting to the event portfolio lead and working closely with the wider team, the digital project manager and content producer will be responsible for creating thought-provoking and best-in-class digital content that Sifted can be proud of.
The digital project manager and content producer will lead on the delivery of Sifted Talks, our one hour, twice monthly digital events from start to finish, having overall ownership of each project and working closely alongside our sales, content and marketing teams to achieve digital events we want to shout about.
Expect to be researching and curating topics, leading on speaker acquisition of some of the most exciting names in our industry, liaising with sponsors and becoming a digital production and operations master. In addition, and when time allows, you’ll be supporting the team on our in person events, and be part of a team making sure there’s continuity throughout the events brand.

London (although we are open to semi-remote applicants, we are office based 2/3 days per week
Requirements
This is a multi-faceted role in a fast paced environment. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling different tasks and be able to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. You should be highly organised, a great communicator and possess a can-do attitude. You should be a self-starter who is excited to develop an important product in Sifted’s ever-growing portfolio.
You will be:
A minimum of two years experience in media/events and a desire to develop a strong understanding of the European startup and tech ecosystem is a must.
