THE ROLE

A 2-3 month fixed term contract to provide a full Pamp;C business partnering service to our UK team as we accelerate through the different phases of hyper growth. For the local teams, you will be happy to roll up your sleeves, lead conversations with team members and adapt to the daily changing priorities of scale up life. You will also have the appetite to own, nurture and deliver key strategic projects on a global scale, often starting with a blank template. We envisage the first 3 months will be heavily operational focussed, managing an ER caseload and up skilling managers on effective performance management, before shifting focus to longer term strategic projects mixed with day-day HR accountabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build trusted partnerships with leaders across the UK team on the full spectrum of Pamp;C matters and people initiatives.
  • Support and coach managers with day to day performance management, career development, talent strategies and disciplinary actions.
  • Partner with the broader Pamp;C team and business to champion, build and deliver on Zoomo-wide strategic programs.
  • Co-own with the Pamp;C Coordinator the daily management of Pamp;C related processes, including the full employee life cycle and experience from onboarding through to offboarding and everything in between.
  • Analyse people trends and metrics to recommend and implement quality, data-driven solutions, programs and policies.
  • Provide benchmarking and advice on the appropriate remuneration and classification of roles in our scaling teams.
  • Assist in the development of succession plans and career pathways across Zoomo.
  • Embrace stakeholder feedback to continually improve and actively develop your own capabilities and technical expertise.
  • Contribute to a team culture where all members are valued and recognised for their diverse skill sets.

Requirements

  • 5 years plus experience in a Pamp;C generalist role, ideally in a blended workforce of frontline and office.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience in dealing with complex ER matters and grievances
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to naturally build rapport with anyone
  • Comfort in the ambiguity of a scale up environment with a creative streak able to create something from nothing
  • An iterative approach and a willingness to jump from partnering, to strategy, to process building to more. Strong business storytelling skills (verbal and written) with an ability to translate "HR speak" into a relatable, impactful and data-driven narrative.
  • Positive, authentic, solution-oriented team player with an eye for efficiency
  • Experience and knowledge utilising HRIS technologies is a plus.
  • It would be a bonus if you speak French, German or Spanish and have experience of providing Pamp;C support in any of these markets.
