Job Description
As a Threads Gen Intern you will be assisting the Threads Gen sales team to help them deliver sales and revenue targets. This will include personal shopping services and e-comm support. You will support the day to day operations of the shoppers you work with, as well as the general day to day business needs. Additionally, you will be supporting creating content for the Threads Gen Instagram amp; TikTok account - this is a highly important, supportive role at the front line of our growing new business at Threads Gen.
Salary for this role is 20k.

This role and the team are hybrid based out of Telephone House in Shoreditch, London. This role does have in-office expectations because of how we operate as a team and business, and although we’re really open to what those are and how they work, this team does require 2-3 days a week together in the office.
We regret that we are not open to fully remote applications right now for this reason, but what we can offer is a flexible working approach which can be discussed per role and a host of team cultural activities and treats in our office.
You Will:
- Absorb all things Threads Gen: our entrepreneurial work culture, mission statement, unique business model and processes.
- Develop an understanding of the Gen Z retail market, including key brand partners, product categories, and ‘hero’ products
- Learn about global HNW/UHNW private clients, their needs, and service expectations
- Gain skills in ‘chat commerce’ by observing your personal shoppers engage with, inspire, and transact with clients via WhatsApp and social media
- Give input when required to help your team generate personalised, curated content for their client base and audience.
- Pitch in, however needed to satisfy business requirements, including: sourcing and collecting goods, reporting/admin duties, creating new content ideas.
- Work alongside key operation personnel to ensure E2E client journey KPIs are achieved, especially: raising sales orders, submitting purchase declarations, updating clients on their order progress, and liaising with brand and supplier partners.
- Work alongside the Threads Gen manager on assisting any admin duties.
- Monitor social media trends to help proactively spot ‘hot’/viral product opportunities
- Assist the Style Concierge team on replying to Instagram and TikTok comments, assisting the team where needs be on client updates.
- Help the Threads Gen marketing team with content curation where possible.
Requirements
You Have:
- Has extensive knowledge of news across fashion, culture, brands, designer and talent awareness of the Gen Z luxury market.
- Worked in a sales environment and has knowledge of high-net worth clientele.
- Previous experience in luxury retail , or experience in the luxury retail, hospitality or lifestyle industries
- Good knowledge of content creation and understanding of Instagram and TikTok
- Social media savvy and confident with learning to use new platforms
- Motivated by personal sales targets and thrives on exceeding them
