What we’re looking for...
AG Barr are looking for a Treasury and Tax Team Analyst to join our Shared Service Centre that sits within our Finance Function. Reporting to the Tax and Treasury Manager, you’ll be responsible for preparing, analysing and presenting tax and treasury information for internal and external stakeholders, in addition to continuously simplifying and standardising the associated processes.
Your responsibilities will include...
As Tax and Treasury Team Analyst your responsibilities will include;
Treasury
- Collating and presenting cash movements overviews, to enhance stakeholders’ knowledge of the drivers impacting our cash movements.
- Liaising with business colleagues in order to forward forecast cash balances across the group.
- Providing a support service to HR and Finance teams to ensure all payroll activities are appropriately recorded in the company’s financial statements.
Taxes and duties
- Providing a support service, covering all Group entities, to the Group Statutory Reporting Accountant to ensure all tax and duty obligations are appropriately recorded, reported and paid.
Fixed Asset Register
- Maintaining the company's Fixed Asset register to ensure an accurate record of the company's assets.
Payment and Returns Obligations
- Ensuring all Insurance and Rates obligations are appropriately recorded and paid.
- Collating and submitting all statutory monthly, quarterly and annual returns required to be submitted by the company.
Other
- Embedding other areas of process work within the business.
What you’ll bring...
The successful candidate will have;
- Excellent verbal communication skills to influence effectively.
- Strong report writing skills - the ability to make the complex simple, and create trusted outputs.
- A working knowledge of ERP systems across various domains, such as Purchase to Pay; Order to Cash; General Ledger; Fixed Assets; VAT; Duties.
- Relevant working knowledge and experience of treasury and tax processes.
- A strong appetite for personal development.
