Optime are excited to be recruiting Specialist Airport Cleaners for a prestigious client at Heathrow Airport. All positions offer full time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start!

What’s on offer:

• Rate of Pay: 12.55 per hour
• Day Shift: 6AM-2PM OR 2PM-10PM
• Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 2 OFF
• Weekly Pay (every Friday)

What you’ll be doing:

• Ensuring equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order
• Carrying out Damage Control and Fire Watch as directed by the Team Leader
• Step up to Team Leader as required to cover annual leave
• Reporting all accidents and/or potential hazards to the Team Leader
• Reporting any damage and safety defects on the premises to the Team Leader and log where appropriate
• Ensure all areas within the relevant Zone are cleaned to the required frequency and SLA’s
• Building knowledge of the designated cleaning areas, ensuring all equipment and chemicals are used in line with Health amp; Safety requirements.
• Documenting routine inspections
• Working as part of a team
• Adhering to airport security processes

The ideal candidate:

• Ability to work in a team
• Great work ethic
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be over 18
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial

Please note: As this is an airport role, successful candidates must pass security checks in-line with CAA regulations. These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.
