Job Description

About the Role

Antler is a British Heritage luggage brand with more than 100 years’ worth of innovation leading in this category, growing at pace and fast becoming a global iconic travel brand.

To help enable this growth even further, we’re looking for a Junior People amp; Culture Partner to join our small but ambitious team based in London (Hoxton Hotel, Southwark).

At the tipping point of a brand re-imagination and market entry, we’re at a particularly exciting stage of our journey. This means no two days at Antler are ever the same, and the pace we move at means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.

The Day to Day Stuff

  • Employee Experience: Ownership of the full employee journey, ensuring people have an outstanding experience, from their first contact with Antler through to their next adventure.
  • Culture: Foster an inclusive, engaging and high performing culture, where personal growth and business growth are intertwined. You’ll drive the engagement strategy, lead on activities and play a key role in establishing Antler as a Great Place to Work.
  • Business Partnering: Act as the first point of contact for all people related employee queries and support managers with the employee journey.
  • People Operations: Manage employee changes including but not limited to; probation tracking, issuing probation letters, promotions and salary increases, flexible working arrangements, parental leave, payroll and off-boarding.
  • The Antler Way: The go to person for all people processes and frameworks - you will be responsible for educating managers and employees on the Antler Way (and holding them accountable to this!).
  • People Systems: You will be our system superuser, point of contact and responsible for making sure our people systems are kept up to date, compliant and accurate, as well as generating people KPIs and reports.
  • People Projects: Work closely with the People Director and Group HR Team (based in Australia on key people projects, with ownership and accountability for certain workstreams.
  • Antler Flex: Make sure all employees have the right environment to do their best work, both at home and in the office. You’ll be prepared to roll up your sleeves and take on the role of office manager.
  • Executive Support: Work directly with the Antler MD and support on EA duties.

  • The ability to deliver both autonomously and within a team.
  • An entrepreneurial 'can do’ attitude and pride yourself on being a self-starter.
  • Excellent people skills - your superpower is the ability to adapt your style to communicate most effectively with different stakeholders.
  • A positive, glass half-full approach and are able to work well under pressure.
  • The ability to adapt and flex when the situation demands it - you thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
