Here’s a more detailed overview of the Senior Data Engineer role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to join our team to take PerchPeek through its next phase of exceptional growth. This role will report directly to our founder CTO, Ace Vinayak.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to support data-driven applications and analytics
• Building and maintaining our Data Lake and reporting systems.
• Work closely with software engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements
• Working with the engineering team to manage infrastructure.
• Help with DevOps operations in general.
• Working in a cross-functional team.
• Optimize data pipelines and systems for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate data systems with other systems and tools
• Write and maintain documentation for data systems and processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data science

Experience:

• At least 2 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong coding skills in Python.
• Proven experience with building and testing pipelines.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Impeccable knowledge of key AWS components - EMR, Redshift and Athena.
• Experience in building connectors with third-party platforms such as HubSpot, Cl
