For 30 years we’ve been creating incredible video games at our multiple studios, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film and mo-cap studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We operate across multiple UK locations, with studios based in Oxford, Warwick, Liverpool, and Wakefield. We are on the hunt for an Executive Producer to bring their dynamism and experience onboard to join our passionate and talented production team working on our upcoming projects, including, a post-apocalyptic, survival-action game and a third-person strategic shooter.
You will manage all aspects of the game development process for your projects and ensure the integration of your work is in line with the technical and artistic direction of the projects. Your focus is to lead a team of game developers to a high quality game in line with your direction.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Head of Art, Design and Programming to balance creative vision with production realities
- Verify the quality of the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints and artistic direction.
- Build and maintain project backlogs, roadmaps, schedules and documentation, and assist in the management of task and bug prioritisation
- Coordinate the work of cross-functional teams to manage feature development and content integration
- Facilitate communication and planning across internal project teams and external contacts and resources
- Ensure features and content follow established documentation and development workflows
- Assess and manage project risks, resource blockers, quality concerns and scope changes, and support in solving problems and resolving issues across the development team
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a similar role, shipping games (PC/Console) globally from concept to finish
- Extensive experience in managing multi-discipline teams, displaying core elements of leadership, management and inspiration.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in Project Management of various sized projects
- Thorough understanding all aspects of the development processes from a game's design phase through to its release is key
- Able to identify major and minor flaws in gameplay, art, code amp; audio, and suggest practical and realistic improvements
- Can manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines at all levels
- Passionate about shooters
