Job Description

[Role Overview]

You will be responsible for managing digital content for the business, writing and reviewing creative and functional content across various digital platforms including websites, social media paid posts, e-commerce platforms and digital advertising. Assisting with driving online bookings through the direct channel for our clients, analysing results to then offer improvements and suggestions on how to generate more results.

Requirements

[What You’ll Do]

  • Write copy for client blogs, paid media promotions, e-commerce platforms, promotional marketing emails and any other collateral required to meet the objectives of both Journey and the client
  • Utilise analytics and reporting platforms to analyse content performance to improve future campaigns based on findings
  • Participate in regular marketing meetings to discuss data findings and to communicate updated content strategies with other departments in the company
  • Assist with bringing together Content and Digital Marketing to produce successful digital promotions
  • Engage in regular research to provide development strategies that offer new and improved ideas to benefit client content and the copy that we provide
  • Create and upload content to client websites when necessary
  • Create and build out client email marketing campaigns
  • Create and build out client digital marketing adverts in the ads platform (Meta amp; Google)
  • Write onsite optimisation and page titles for new websites to benefit organic search
  • Ensure all content produced matches the tone and style of each client
  • Stay up to date with organic SEO updates and ensure all content produced meets recent guidelines
  • Ad copy variation / testing to make improvements on performance

[What You’ll Have]

  • Ideally a degree level graduate or equivalent achievement in English, Digital Marketing or similar
  • Proven track record and experience within an agency environment in a similar role preferably 1+ years of experience in the digital industry
  • Experience in creating and managing online content across a range of platforms
  • Knowledge and experience of using Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised in managing own workload and projects to deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail with a passion and understanding for English grammar
  • Knowledge of organic SEO guidelines and content needs
  • An interest in the travel industry
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced agency environment
