About the Role
Working in the Management Accounting team of Group financial Control, you will be responsible for preparing the fleet results and maintaining the integrity of our data and reporting of the fleet function. With the guidance of the Gross Margin Controller, you will be a key liaison between Finance and the Fleet hub.

Location
This role is based at our head office in Paddington (with hybrid working) and one day per week at our brand-new Driver Hub in West Drayton, where there is easy access from the M4 and free parking available.
Reporting Lines
This role reports to the Gross Margin Controller
Main Accountabilities
- Keeping track of all lease agreements (both finance and operating leases).
- Keeping a track of lease costs expense account.
- Monthly Prepayments and Accruals
- Own and maintain the Fleetwave database files (Fleet status database)
- Reconcile Fleetwave to the fixed asset register with support from the Balance Sheet controller
- Reconcile Fleetwave to invoices received
- Weekly/Monthly Insurance (trust) reconciliations and uploads.
- Assist with preparation of the fleet pack.
- Monthly Journal postings, ensuring correct double entry is used.
- Revenue, COS and OH postings.
- Congestion Charge accruals.
- Intercompany journals
- Working with the balance sheet controller to capitalise Finance leases and purchased vehicles
- Assisting the Balance sheet controller and Gross Margin Controller with tracking risks and opportunities
- Self-Starter with a strong work ethic
- Advanced Excel Skills (V-Lookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables, navigation shortcuts etc)
- Educated to degree level and having already joined an accounting accreditation (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Highly computer literate
- Ability to work under pressure, taking ownership of work and meeting strict deadlines
- Ensure the highest level of confidentiality at all times
- Ability to strike relationships and maintain a professional, polite and courteous demeanour when liaising with stakeholders
