Production Operative

Salary: 25,785 + overtime + 10% shift allowance (when on shift) + benefits
The salary is inclusive of a 1500 annual allowance which is paid monthly at 125 per month. The allowance is paid to you for a maximum period of 12 months by which point you should have moved up to level 2 and your salary will increase to 26,493.

Hours: 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday + overtime
We are recruiting for a team of Production Operatives to join our growing team at our Mells Manufacturing site. Internally, this role is known as Operations Team Member.

So, what's the mission?
You will work as part of our manufacturing team to carry out all duties relating to the efficient manufacturing of high-quality concrete products, using all operational techniques and creating the UK's leading concrete products. You will be required to use manual handling tools including the use of powered hand tools, machinery and mechanical handling equipment. You’ll to work in an environment where safety, quality, waste and OEE targets are the norm!
You will be working a two-week rotating shift pattern (6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm) based on 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
Our starting salary is 25,785 + overtime + 10% shift allowance (when on shift)
Your salary rises annually to our fully skilled Operations Team Member salary of 28,700 + overtime + shift allowance (when on shift).
The annual pay increases are part of your development and further details will be shared with you at the interview.
