Wattbike is an exciting brand with a big future, and we’re looking for a Content Manager to help deliver our ambitious growth plans! This is a freelance position with a minimum requirement of 2 days per week for and initial 3 months with the option for extra days when needed.
Wattbike is used by the biggest sports teams and athletes across the Premier League, NFL, national rugby teams and more, as well as thousands of everyday athletes at home.
They all have one common goal: to improve their health and fitness progression.
As our Content Manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning and execution of unrivalled brand content and campaigns across all digital channels. This could be in the form of website blog posts, social ad copy or email campaigns.
Our HQ is based in West Bridgford in Nottingham and our teams work in a hybrid way, coming to the office as and when needed, and working remotely around that. The Marketing team usually works 1 day each week together from our HQ.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to create, plan and implement the annual content plan to cover Wattbike digital channels, including social media, email and website
- Execute on content briefs that include social media copy, prospect emails or web pages ranging from blogs, case studies to product pages.
- Responsible for creating content that matters to our customers and target audience using customer insights, industry trends or wider sporting events as inspiration.
- Continually develop and improve strategies and campaigns across all relevant channels to drive both brand awareness and sales
- Collaborate with design team to write and orchestrate design briefs for content campaigns
- When needed work with Wattbike ambassadors to deliver on content requirements whether that be on a piece of video, blog or imagery.
- Work closely with PR agency to support planned activity, and ensure all brand partnership opportunities are amplified
- Support in the planning and delivery of visual asset production, including photography and videography shoots
Requirements
Be a creative writer with knowledge of cycling and the wider health amp; fitness industryBe experienced in managing social media channels or creating content for social and keeping an eye on emerging social trends An experienced copywriter with the ability to adapt their writing style to the Wattbike tone of voice Used to adapting writing style for different channels and audiences.Be an ambassador for the Wattbike brandSkilled in measuring, analysing, sharing and evolving data from a variety of social media / digital sources.A passionate, cross-functional and pro-active individually, both remotely and face-to-faceIdeally has worked with CRM / email systems and analytics tools we use KlaviyoComfortable with challenging the status quo; in asking ‘why’ and ‘why not’.Really well organised and able to manage and deliver multiple projects on time.
