We are a fast-paced and energetic team looking for someone to deliver excellent work with a direct financial and operational impact. The ideal candidate will be incredibly detailed and have a positive approach to work with utmost accuracy.
There will be challenges at every turn from handling multiple currencies, liaising with high-level customers, and being a key person internally to make things happen.
To succeed in the role, you will have:
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail, spotting mistakes as they arise
- The ability and motivation to adapt, multi-task, and learn quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Great organisational skills you’ll need to be able to juggle lots of different tasks and prioritise, as you will have competing demands on your time
- Brilliant communication skills to help our customers with their queries and to enable you to establish strong working relationships with other Twinklees
- Teamwork - you’ll be working with local, international and remote teams both internally and externally
- A strong work ethic, take pride in what you do
- A passion for spreadsheets, as we use excel and gsheets a lot
In this role, you will learn:
- How to engage with the finance management of Twinkl, as well as internal (e.g. Schools amp; Cares teams) and external stakeholders (such as suppliers and banks)
- How to develop your existing knowledge and skills in a growing team
- The potential to take advantage of our internal Learning amp; Development courses
You’ll work with:
- Finance team - there are currently 10 of us, a well-connected and supportive team
- Sales team - a big, lovely team; they will be your other main contacts at Twinkl
Requirements
We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:
- Positive working attitude and enthusiasm towards learning new skills
Experience in the below would be advantageous, but not essential:
- Experience using Sage, Quickbooks, or another accounting software
