Digital Designer - Freelance

We are looking for a freelance digital designer to work closely with our Client Services and Production teams to deliver design work for our client accounts with a focus on China.

We are looking for:

• Designing and producing original creative ideas, specific to Chinese social media and digital platforms, especially for WeChat Official Account articles.
• Work alongside both Strategists and Account Managers to input on monthly content planning from visual perspective, as well as for campaign ideas and brainstorming
• Collaborating with Social Media Managers/Digital Marketing Executives to create content for digital platforms and media buy.
• Provide insights into current visual trends on modern China and the Chinese market.

Requirements

• Chinese language skill is essential
• Fluent English Speaker
• University Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Well-versed in China digital platforms and trends, ideally WeChat and Weibo
• A portfolio of previous design work to showcase experience and creativity.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in creating and designing WeChat articles with aesthetic excellence
• Solid knowledge of design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Xiumi, 315. Ability of coding is a plus.
• Ability to define tasks and manage own schedule to meet tight deadlines
• Experience working with an established Digital, Advertising, PR or Branding Agency highly desirable
