Team amp; Role
On our Engineering Team, we focus on using open source technologies and we love to build reliable and simple solutions. We are looking for a junior Java backend developer, motivated, efficient, that loves both coding and good practices.
Here are some of the technologies used at Landytech:
- Infrastructure amp; Service: Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps (CI and Management), Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Storage, Messaging/Events/Queues, Git, SonarQube
- Backend: Kotlin, Java, Python, Spring Boot amp; Co, JPA, SQL/NoSQL, Elastic, Gradle
- Frontend: React (Redux/Recoil/SWR/ReactQuery), TypeScript, nx.dev, antdesign, Jest, Webpack, Highcharts, Syncfusion, Axios.
What We Are Looking For
- You will be defining, building and deploying pipelines as code with Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
- You will be working with the frontend teams and and building REST APIs
- You will be defining Azure infrastructure requirements for your services
- You will be defining and following coding conventions and rules (Sonar, ktlint, checkstyle)
- You'd be expected to learn and start mastering micro-services architecture
- You'd be expected to write unit and functional tests
Your Skills amp; Expertise
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or any stem subject
- You are fresh out of university, but you have done some related side projects or an internship and you are now ready for a full-time role where you can learn, thrive and see the impact of your work
- You have some experience with designing and building business services in our micro-services cloud architecture with Spring add Kotlin
- You have some experience with all of these: Kotlin, Java 17, Spring (boot, web, security, data), Hibernate/JPA/JDBC, SQL, HTTP/Restful API/Json/Patch, Junit/AssertJ/Mockito/Mockk, Docker, GIT
- It's a plus if you have some experience with any of these: Azure Cloud and DevOps, event-driven/message-oriented Middleware/Queues, Apache Camel, Micro-Service architecture, No-SQL, Elastic, Mongo, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node
- You have some experience working with Agile methodologies
- You have come across financial datasets/ETL
- You are fluent in French and English
